GABBRO

EKOTERRA GABBRO

Heavy-duty robotics from surface to depth

Gabbro is an underwater robotic platform designed to move substantial payloads repeatedly between the surface and deep-water environments.

At the heart of Gabbro is a unique variable-buoyancy patented architecture. Through its surface-connected water and air system, the platform actively controls its descent and ascent, enabling repeated surface-to-depth operations while carrying equipment, sensors, tools or recovered payloads.

This capability opens a broad range of applications traditionally constrained by depth, diver safety or the lifting capacity of conventional underwater robots: offshore and subsea operations, infrastructure inspection and maintenance, scientific missions, environmental monitoring, equipment deployment and retrieval, emergency response, and deep-water search and recovery.

More than an observation ROV, Gabbro is a subsea robotic workhorse — designed not only to see and operate at depth, but to carry, deploy, retrieve and return.

Heavy payloads. Great depths. Back to surface.
